Welcome

The Tourism Collaborative is a United States-based research and publications organization.  Headquartered in Evanston, Illinois, it has two principals: Craig A. Peterson and Claire McCarthy.

The Tourism Collaborative specializes in analyzing tourism resources (those elements that attract visitors to a destination) and identifying strategies for managing existing and prospective tourism growth throughout the world. 

It also maintains an extensive proprietary archive of several thousand photographs illustrating conditions and attractions at a wide variety of tourist destinations. Examples in the archive are available for viewing at www.craigpetersonphotography.com.

The Tourism Collaborative has studied tourism development in a broad range of contexts over more than twenty years.
